This weekend will see all three bands participate in their final competition this year at the Richmond Highland Games. The games will be held both at it’s old location, the Richmond International Raceway (RIR), with all piping, drumming, and pipe band competitions taking place on Saturday, October 20.

All three bands will be wrapping up successful seasons which this year included the launching of the MacMillan Pipe Band Grade 5 unit at the Celtic Festival of Southern Maryland this past spring.  Results for bands and soloists will be posted after the Richmond Games, including previous contests this year.

Best of luck to all three bands and (pardon the pun) let’s end the year on a high note!
