MacMillan members across the bands had a productive February among solo competitions walking away with a few Piper of the Day awards and an entry to the World Solo Drumming Championship. Great to see so many pipers and drummers prepared so early in the year for what will surely be a great 2023 season!!

Rose & Shamrock Festival (Lancaster, PA)

Olivia Corcoran – Grade 2 Piper of the Day;  4 1st’s with above grade levels (AGL), 1 2nd in Piobaireachd

Tom Cangelosi – Grade 1 Piper of the Day; 3 1st’s with 1 AGL in light music, 2nd in Piobaireachd

Thomas DeBuchananne – 2 2nd’s and a 3rd with 1 AGL in light music, 1st in Piobaireachd

Lindsey Bloom – G4 Piper of the Day; 2nd in light music, 1st in Piobaireachd

RSPBA Intercontinental Drumming Championship (Dunedin, FL)

Alexander Kuldell –  4th place and entry to the RSPBA World Solo Drumming Championship
