Alex has been drumming in and around the Washington D.C. area for over 20 years as a performer and an instructor.  He is a professional snare drummer in the U.S. Army’s Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps, current lead drummer for the MacMillan Pipe Band, and drummer for Vintage #18.

Alex is an award-winning snare drummer and an adjudicator for the Eastern United States Pipe Band Association.
