Sam has been a part of Pipe Bands for over 15 years. Having started as a snare in the Guilford & Glencoe District Juvenile Pipe Band our of Baltimore, he made the jump to the grade 1 level with the City of Washington Pipe Band. Sam has quickly risen to become one of the most innovative tenor drummers of the modern era and has been recognized as the East coast champion for many years as well as the Gold Medal professional Tenor champion of 2019. Sam is the Midsection Leader for the Grade 2 band.
